Health programme prize goes to Vorarlberg

Landesrat Hans-Peter Bischof - provincial councillor - welcomed a professional audience to the 1st Symposium for Health and Prevention organised by the International Bodensee Conference. The aim of this event is to establish an international health platform for politicians, health professionals and laymen. The ‘Health Programme’ prize was handed over at this occasion. 114 institutions and individuals had applied for this sought-after prize. The prize went to the Vorarlberg project ‘Body Mind – corporate health programme’ designed by the Raiffeisenbank Kleinwalsertal. The prize-winning bank started an awareness programme amongst its employees with the motto: "a healthy mind in a healthy body." The programme included: fruit in every department, a fitness room, mental training and diet consultation. For Landesrat Hans-Peter Bischof this was further evidence that "health and prevention programmes have strong roots in the Vorarlberg province."
