Over 365,000 residents in Vorarlberg

In March 2007, 365,481 people had their main residence in Vorarlberg, an increase of some 1,600 over the previous year. At least 20,000 people also have a secondary residence in one of Vorarlberg’s municipalities. Over the past 12 months, births have exceeded deaths by approximately 1,400, and there has also been significant immigration (+ 200). The proportion of foreigners in the population has remained stable at 12.6 percent.
